Whimsy and magic are both always at the forefront of Vannessa’s illustrative and colorful tattoo style! With a Taiwanese ancestry steeped in Buddhism and spirituality, they aim to create designs and tattoo experiences that harness the powers of playfulness, nostalgia, and all things ethereal.
Vannessa has been tattooing full-time since 2020. In 2021, she moved to New York City from Houston and a few years later, opened her very own studio space in Brooklyn in 2023—Meadow Sky Studio. Jess Baker (she/her) @jessbakertatts
Senior Tattoo Apprentice
Jess recently embarked on her tattooing journey, driven by a love for art and a desire to connect with others through tattooing. She focuses on crafting meaningful pieces, often inspired by nature, particularly plants. Jess has a special passion for drawing mythical creatures and whimsical fairies in an illustrative style, frequently incorporating the moon and stars into her designs. As she begins this exciting chapter, Jess is eager to see her artistry evolve and grow! :)

Aislinn Foley (she/her) @visionbandittattoos
Tattoo Artist
Aislinn has been drawing her whole life, but began to take matters more seriously at age 14 when she began figure drawing courses, AP art classes and pre-college courses to streamline her creative careers. She briefly studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology for illustration and has recently begun her dream of tattooing. Aislinn has spent about 5 years working within the tattoo industry and 10 years working as a free-lance illustrator, leading to her participation in 2019’s spring NYFW and a series of small galleries.
Her main influences come from the natural world, dreams, old school illustrations, historic art, folk art and traditional tattoos. She aims to honor the past in her art all the while pushing styles forward to create an aesthetic that will carry its owner through time with grace. Tattooing is a deeply personal act for Aislinn and she aims to create a service in which the client’s can leave an appointment feeling a bit more of themselves.

Mellow/Michelle (she/her) @mellow.pokes
Tattoo Artist
Mellow is a hand-poked tattoo artist who specializes in creating designs that reflect her clients’ unique stories—whether inspired by cherished memories, favorite animals, or meaningful connections. She brings a thoughtful, personal touch to every piece she creates.
Outside of tattooing, Mellow enjoys exploring new hobbies, playing video games like Baldur’s Gate 3, and spending time with animals. Her friendly and approachable nature makes each session feel comfortable and collaborative, resulting in tattoos as unique as the people who wear them.

Chloe Berry (she/they) @cozy_snail_pokes
Tattoo Apprentice
Chloe is a software engineer with a lifelong love for art and whimsy. After moving to NYC from Florida, she finally took the leap into tattooing and began her apprenticeship at Meadow Sky. Her style is cozy, blending gentle, illustrative designs with inspiration from childhood wonder, nature, and magical moments in everyday life.
More than anything, Chloe values creating a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard and comfortable. She’s excited to grow as an artist and connect with others through her work.

Tattoo Apprentice
Meet Zuzu—the Late Bloomer. She began as a self-taught artist in New Jersey where her passion for tattooing started to grow at home. She started tattooing as a hobby for her friends and family and because of her dedication, lead her wanting to expand her knowledge in tattooing professionally. She believes that is never too late to learn, grow and transform. Her art inspires from anime, street art/graffiti, realism, nature and music. Her versatile taste makes her strong in fine-line, anime, micro-realism (black & gray), and calligraphy tattoos. Her goal is to create impactful, personal and creative pieces for her clients; have them feeling the best version of themselves!
The First generation Salvadorian descendant enjoys her time playing the ukulele, listening to music, singing karaoke, drawing, cooking, eating good food, coffee and long walks in good weather.
Indra (she/they) @bushbabytattoo
Tattoo Apprentice
Being an artist by blood means that for Indra, the universe has allowed them to communicate with the cosmos in a way they hope to translate in every facet of their artistic practice. Having trained as a stop-motion animator and illustrator, Indra’s work reflects a deep love for fantasy and the natural world, through attention to detail, movement, and imaginative storytelling.
Born and raised in NYC by a strong spiritual mother figure from Brazil, and sensitive father from the far stretches of mountains up north, Indra’s work is a collective ode to our connection with the inner voice and strength in self-identity. Their interest in the preservation of natural history (such as taxidermy and textiles), and finding joy in play (such as sculpting tiny custom tamagotchis) has allowed this empathetic energetic exchange to fuel their tattoo journey.
Indra believes in creating a safe space where the body and spirit are seen, heard, and at ease, and aims to ensure sessions are grounding and sweet, so clients leave feeling taken care of and empowered in their skin. All bodies are beautiful, all are welcome.

Lana (she/her) @lanacatz.ink
Tattoo Apprentice
Lana has been drawing since she was little, but she took it more seriously as she got older, and found a way to make it a career choice for herself (as a tattoo artist,hehe)! She’s as sweet as can be, and as curious as it gets! Her brain's always buzzing with ideas that she pulls straight outta her favorite animes and video game worlds and books.
Georgie is an artist specializing in detailed illustrative linework. With a Bachelor's in Illustration, she has honed her artistic skills, often using clean, fluid lines and simple shading in her work. She enjoys drawing characters, creatures, and anything cute that sparks joy and creativity. She is most inspired by tattoo artistry as being a tool to add exciting embellishments to another person's life, sort of like doodling and filling up space with decor. Their main artistic influences come from the cartoons they grew up watching like the powerpuff girls, adventure time, etc. Georgie is excited to begin pursuing her dreams of becoming a tattoo artist, and hopes you will trust them to collaborate on your next piece!
